Trail is a mixture of single track, edges of grass fields and tow path (cinder footing). Other than along the tow path the terrain is generally rolling with some rocky sections.
There is no crewing on trail but there will be hospitality/support stops for the ultra marathon runners with food and water available for riders too. It will be mandatory to wear some orange if you are riding or running on the trails since it will be hunting season and the trail will cross some private property.
Trail lengths remain to be determined due to trail damage sustained by hurricane Ida.
Camp: Camp is set up in a large field with primitive camping only.
Dogs must remain leashed at all times. A food truck will be available at base camp.
There are also restaurants and convenience stores located less than 2 miles away for food, ice, etc.
Housekeeping: Please take your garbage with you. You can scatter your hay and manure in the field.
Farrier: We will have a farrier (Andy Howard) on site Saturday. Please pay the farrier directly.
